Testosterone optimization is an underutilized health treatment option for thousands of men in the US who suffer from symptoms of low testosterone to the detriment of their health.

With Apex Health for testosterone replacement and optimization, you make an initial appointment. This appointment costs $250, but includes the lab work, your appointment, and the first month of treatment.

After you make your appointment, you will receive an email with the order for your blood tests. You can go to any of the offered labs to get your blood tests drawn. These tests can take up to 3 business days for results, so we recommend scheduling your appointment 3-5 business days after you are able to get your labs drawn.

If you make an appointment and do not get your labs drawn, you will not be eligible for treatment and we will not be able to offer a refund.

You will also be emailed consent and screening forms to complete prior to your appointment.

At your appointment, we will discuss your symptoms, diagnostic tests, medical history, and all pertinent information. If testosterone replacement and optimization is appropriate for you, we will order your medication from the pharmacy, which will be sent directly to your house.

The cost for testosterone optimization therapy with Apex Health is $100/month for membership + cost/shipping of medications. This cost includes follow up lab testing and follow-up evaluations.

Currently, we are not charging for our initial consult regarding weight loss therapies. It's a free, no strings attached consultation where we can discuss weight loss therapy options and help you make an informed decision.

If you decide to take the steps to take control of your body and health, we will help you pick which therapies are best for you and your health.

Semaglutide and Tirzepitide are weekly injections that can be done either in the office or at your own home, depending on your comfort level and needs. Payment for the medications will be done monthly and will be based on the strength of the medication being administered.

With Semaglutide and Tirzepitide subscriptions, patients get a free B12 injection or Amino Acid boost with each dose of medication!

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that can help patients meet health needs. Many are used for gaining muscle, losing body fat, combat aging, improve athletic performance, treat erectile dysfunction, and other health goals.

We offer peptides and other supplement medications for improving our patients' health.

Peptides and supplemental therapies can be a subscription, monthly charge or a pay-for-service option.

Currently, evaluations for peptide therapy, when not discussing testosterone optimization therapies, are a free, no strings attached consultation.

Do you accept insurance? We do not accept insurance. Most of our therapies are not FDA approved and/or will not be covered by most insurance companies. Please note, although some therapies are not FDA approved, it does not mean they are dangerous! These therapies are all used regularly with very positive, safe results.

If therapies are not FDA approved, does that mean they are dangerous? Not at all. These therapies, while not FDA approved for many patients, are common therapies that have demonstrated to be safe and effective.

How much do the medications or therapies cost? Because costs of medications from pharmacies may fluxuate or change, our prices might also change from time to time. To get the best idea of current prices of medications, you can schedule an evaluation or email us at providers@apexhealthiowa.com

If I'm already taking testosterone/weight loss medications, can I switch my treatment to your clinic? Absolutely. We will still need to do the same evaluation and lab work as new patients, but we will definitely accept patients who wish to switch their care to our clinic.

Are there any side effects to the medications? Every medication has side effects, most are minor, but some can be unfavorable. Unfortunately, we cannot always predict who will get side effects. We will discuss all common, known possible side effects of medication prior to initiating any treatment.

Are there any commitments when making one of the free evaluations? Making one of the free evaluations we offer is just that: free. We hope that after our evaluation you will have the information you need to make an educated decision regarding treatments we offer.

Can I stop the treatment at any time? Most therapies can be stopped at any time, with testosterone therapy being the exception. Patients on other therapies can stop therapy safely as they wish. Patients who are using testosterone should be weaned off the medication or they may suffer unfortunate hormonal and health side effects.
